Importing a Character into Blender from the MakeHuman Application
The “standalone” version of MakeHuman is available at: https://files2.makehumancommunity.org/releases/makehuman-community-1.3.0-windows.zip (https://static.makehumancommunity.org/makehuman/releases/releases_130.html)
It is best to avoid using the “mhx2” export format and importing it into Blender after installing: http://www.makehumancommunity.org/content/plugins.html as described at https://github.com/makehumancommunity/mhx2-makehuman-exchange.
The correct method is to use MPFB in Blender via the “New Human → From MakeHuman” menu. To do this, you must first enable socket connection in MakeHuman: “Community → Socket → Accept Connections”
