Blender practical work : epic animation

Here is the video of what you are going to design :

Useful materials

The animation text :

Crie sua introdução épica usando o Blender...

Praticamente todos os elementos do Blender podem ser animados: objetos, materiais, coleções etc...

As combinações são infinitas...

Practical work

The blender animation layout :

Achieve the “starfield” material with the following shader :

Design Steps:

  1. Creating the Starfield
  2. Creating the “Blue” Text
  3. Creating an “Empty” to attach all the “Yellow” objects to be scrolled
  4. Creating the “Emission” materials
  5. Animating object positions
  6. Animating emission strength
  7. Animating object visibility
  8. Creating the video

To achieve deep, rich colors—rather than washed-out ones—in EEVEE, you must configure “Color Management” (https://docs.blender.org/manual/fr/latest/render/color_management.html) to “Standard” mode…

The “emission” material is as follows:

To show or hide an element in the scene, use the “Enable/Disable” in render button and animate it using keyframes.

It is also possible to modify the Emission material by adding a transparent material and blending them:

We'll animate the “Fac” field in the “Mix Shader” to create transparency in the material.

Managing text that scrolls in justified paragraphs using “boxes”:

Creating the video for your animation:

Finally, generate the video of your animation. You can add a soundtrack. The StarsBrasil theme has been added to the useful files.

There are two ways to generate the video:

  1. directly by exporting the animation as a video file (MP4 or other formats) and adding the soundtrack,
  2. or by generating a series of images and using the VSE (Visual Sequencer Editor). This allows you to “synchronize” the soundtrack with the images and also add video effects.
