I thought I'd just post this for posterity. If you buy this adapter or one like it, and this fan, be sure not to forget to solder a 10K Ohm resistor across the 5V (red) and Tach (yellow) wires (See this post). If you don't the Dreamcast will not pass boot. Right after the BIOS splash video the screen will go black. This is because the DC thinks the Fan has died and is protecting itself from overheating. The Original Fan had the resistor onboard, the Noctua fan doesn't.
